Susan C. Casey, Esq.

Ms. Casey graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1995. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Emory University (1984), and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (1991). Before attending law school, Ms. Casey worked in the Human Rights Program at The Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a staff attorney with the Federal Defender Program, Inc., in Chicago, Illinois from 1995 to 2000, and a staff attorney in the capital habeas corpus unit of the Federal Defender Program, Inc., in Atlanta from 2000 to 2007. Ms. Casey is a member of the bar in Georgia and Illinois. She practices exclusively in the field of postconviction representation, including Georgia petitions for writ of habeas corpus. Ms. Casey joined the firm in 2007.
