Palmer Singleton, Esq.

Mr. Singleton graduated in 1981 from New York University College of Law. He was then a Prettyman Fellow at the Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Singleton served as a staff attorney at the Southern Center for Human Rights in Atlanta for twenty-two years, representing capital defendants at trial and during postconviction proceedings. In addition to his work with the Southern Center for Human Rights, Mr. Singleton has taught courses on criminal procedure and capital punishment at Georgia State University’s College of Law and at Emory University’s School of Law. Mr. Singleton is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Washington D.C. He practices exclusively in the field of postconviction representation, including Georgia petitions for writ of habeas corpus. Mr. Singleton joined the firm in 2006.
