Milton "Buddy" Nix, Jr. (Parole and Postconviction Consultant)

Mr. Nix graduated from the University of Georgia and served six years as a Special Agent of the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI).  In 1970, he began his career with the FBI, serving twenty-three years as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent.  Mr. Nix was appointed Director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in 1993, a position which he held for nine years.  In June 2002, Mr. Nix was appointed to the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles, where he immediately was elected Chairman. Mr. Nix served as Chairman until 2006 and remained on the Georgia Parole Board as a Board Member until December 31, 2009. In February 2010, Mr. Nix joined the firm as a Postconviction Consultant. On March 24, 2010, the Georgia House of Representatives passed a resolution recognizing and commending Mr. Nix, which can be viewed here.
